Night

And G-d made
the day
to be ruled by man
and the night
to be ruled by silence

Shines the sun
venture forth
lions of men
and roar for prey
till eve

Descends darkness
and it is night -
and the human beast
stealths off
to his lair

Then wakes the poet
to his silence
and to his work
till mourn
